Lady Bay Beach / Part One
◈ Kimono – One Teaspoon ◈
The best thing about being in a new city is getting lost. There is nothing more satisfying than just walking around with no specific goal; no destination.
We stumbled upon Lady Bay Beach a few days ago, and NEEDED to share what we found with you. It comes pretty close to heaven on earth… an isolated little beach in Sydney’s east. You can only get there via a track through some bushland (or by boat), but the small hike is definitely worth it. The water is so clear that you can see your feet sinking into the sand.
The gorgeous kimono in this shoot is by the Australian brand One Teaspoon. They are one of our all time favourite designers, and are based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. We picked up this kimono a few years ago and have worn it more times than we could possibly count. It’s truly like a piece of art.
One Teaspoon started when Jamie Blakey, at 18 years old, jumped into a bus with nothing but a bag full of fabric and a dream. It seemed more than appropriate to feature this kimono here after we ourselves got lost and ended up at this tiny, beautiful beach.
