When the journey becomes the destination

Yamba has that kind of atmosphere that you CAN’T blame yourself for spending hours of daydreaming about how life could be living there. It’s a cute little fishing town with a population of 5000 and with such perfect relaxed pace. It took us about three minutes to walk through the centrum and further three minutes walking got us endless beaches (we even surfed with 12 playful dolphins there, that’s a BIG thing for two Swedes haha).
We filled the days there with cliff jumping and surfing and the nights with guitar playing and endless discussions about the universe (cliché, maybe, but we always ends up talking about the universe after two glasses of wine). But after the police woke us up (two days in a row) 06.00 am we knew that it was time for us to leave drive down south.
Our days in Yamba is such a great example of when the journey becomes the destination.
